Credit Facilities

Port user intending to conduct business with Kuching Port on credit are advised to register with the Revenue Section and furnish Kuching Port with cash deposit or Bank Guarantee from their respective banks.

Pilotage

Pilotage services are provided by the Marine Department by giving at least 24 hours notice by telex to MA 70933 or fax: +60 82 331 349. Vessels are requested to report to Marine Signal Station/Biawak Signal Station on Channel 20 at least 2 hours before arrival for information on pilotage and berthing information.

Normal pilotage services are available from 0600 hours to 2000 hours daily and with advanced notice when necessary pilotage can also be provided any other times of the day.

The pilot station is at 1 nautical mile North East of Tanjong Po Lighthouse at co-ordinates 1º44'02"N-100º31'08"E. During the North East Monsoon, the station is moved to Embang and Senari Leads at co-ordinates
1º39'03"N-110º31'03"E
